As a traveler, I absolutely loved the unique art and furnishings throughout the hotel. The room art was special and the overall ambience was great, taking me back to the "old days" of comfort. The grounds were spacious and well-kept, offering plenty of opportunities for relaxation. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The hotel also offered a range of activities such as theater movies, live music, and patio dining. The staff was friendly and the hotel was pet-friendly.

our stay at this funky lodge was a delightful and inspiring quick getaway. the quirky artworks and beautiful surroundings made for a unique and relaxing experience. the new third floor rooms with private bathrooms were a great improvement from our previous stay. we'll definitely be back!

I absolutely loved the unique and artsy vibe of this hotel. The historical decor and accents added to the overall ambiance, making it a truly one-of-a-kind experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the innkeeper who worked overnight was particularly kind and thoughtful. The grounds and gardens were beautiful, providing a breath of fresh air. The themed rooms were lovely and added to the charm of the hotel.

loved the extensive grounds, charming art-filled rooms, and delicious coffee by the fireplace. A true adult playground with soaking tub, movie theater, and disc golf course. The restaurant and bars were great too. This hotel exceeded my expectations for a relaxing getaway.

Inexperienced bartender needs more training.

During my Christmas stay, I loved the unique and artistic atmosphere of the hotel. Every corner had a beautiful design and there was so much to discover. I also appreciated the fact that the hotel offered a soaking pool and a full menu that could be ordered from anywhere in the hotel. It was great to have these additional amenities available.

There were a couple of downsides to my stay. the noise level in the hallways on Friday evening was quite disruptive, making it difficult to sleep even with the provided ear plugs.

loved my recent stay at mcmenamins grand lodge in forest grove. felt like i was transported to a bygone era, the attention to detail was impressive. comfy rooms and fluffy linens, plus the heated pool and spa were perfect for total relaxation. the art and ambiance were a highlight, with something new to discover at every turn. definitely exceeded my expectations.

We had an amazing time at the hotel! The soaking pool was absolutely fantastic, and the food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious. The hotel facilities were great, with secret rooms to discover and a movie theater. There were plenty of fun activities to do on the property, like watching movies on the lawn and enjoying live bands. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the server in the morning who went out of his way to make sure we were well-informed about the menu. we loved the cleanliness, facilities, and service at this hotel.

We had a fantastic weekend at this interesting, historic hotel. The quirky artwork and beautiful surroundings made it a unique experience. The new attic rooms with private bathrooms were a great improvement. The hotel has a nice restaurant, friendly staff, and even a pub/restaurant under the trees. We love coming here as a quick getaway to relax and get inspired. The artwork throughout the hotel is diverse and adds to the overall enjoyment.
